This product is compatible with most swimming pool chemicals and is not harmful to the metal, paint, plastic, or non-porous glazed tile surfaces of the pool when used correctly. It does not require any special equipment for treating swimming pool water. You can directly add the correct use dilution to any spot in the pool or to the water-circulation equipment. The best way to use this product is by pouring it around the outside perimeter of the pool. After applying the product, make sure no one swims in the pool for at least 15 minutes. Also, check that all pool equipment is working properly and follow the manufacturer's directions for backwashing the filter system.

To maintain the pool, adjust the pH between 7.2-7.6 and the chlorine residual to 1-3 ppm. Additionally, add stabilizer to establish a minimum level of 40-50 ppm in a chlorine treated pool to reduce the effects of sunlight on the chlorine residual. Check for metals and use a stain and scale inhibitor if necessary to prevent staining of the pool surface.

To remove algae, thoroughly backwash the filter and vacuum any debris. Then, brush the pool thoroughly. Next, add 5.2 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water. After 24 hours, vacuum the pool again to remove dead algae. If algae are still visible, repeat steps 3 and 4 until the pool is free of visible algae. Once the algae are under control, clean the filter and return it to normal operation.

For maintenance, add 1.28 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water every 3-5 days. If the pool experiences high temperatures or heavy use, add the maintenance dose more frequently. Use a booster dose of 1.28 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water after a heavy or prolonged rainfall or when there is a heavy bathing load. It is important to follow these directions even when the pool is not in use. If you notice algae growth, apply the initial dose.

This product efficiently inhibits algae growth, keeping the pool water sparkling and clear of visible green and blue-green algae, slime, and green-brown colors. It is suitable for all pool types, including vinyl, fiberglass, concrete, and gunite. It is a non-metallic algaecide that prevents and kills algae.
