This product quickly disperses to establish chlorine protection and stabilizes pool water, extending the life of the disinfectant. Please use a reliable test kit to determine the concentration of stabilizer in the pool water. To bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm, refer to the chart provided and follow the instructions accordingly. If the pool is new, recently refilled, or lacks stabilizer, add 4 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons of water to achieve the desired range of 40-100 ppm. You can either add this product slowly into the skimmer or, if preferred, pre-mix it in a pail of warm water before adding it directly to the skimmer. Make sure that the filter is clean. For complete dissolution, continuously recirculate the water for 24 hours. Always maintain a chlorine residual of 2.0-4.0 ppm and pH levels between 7.4-7.6 in your pool. Cyanuric acid for pools helps reduce chlorine loss and is recommended to be maintained at a level of 40-100 ppm. Adding 6 ounces of this product increases the cyanuric acid level by 10 ppm per 5,000 gallons of water. By increasing the cyanuric acid level, this product reduces chlorine loss caused by sunlight, ultimately resulting in a decrease in chlorine consumption of up to 25%. Additionally, it improves the effectiveness of chlorine.
