To determine the concentration of stabilizer in the pool water, use a reliable test kit. Follow the provided chart to bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm. If the pool is new, recently refilled, or lacks stabilizer, add 4 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons of water to achieve a range of 40-100 ppm. Add the product slowly into the skimmer, or alternatively, mix it in a pail of warm water and then add it directly to the skimmer. Ensure that the filter is clean. Recirculate the water continuously for 24 hours to ensure complete dissolution. It is important to maintain the chlorine residual in your pool at 2.0-4.0 ppm and the pH level at 7.4-7.6 at all times. This cyanuric acid for pools helps reduce chlorine loss and is recommended to be maintained at a level of 40-100 ppm. Adding 6 ounces of this product increases the cyanuric acid level by 10 ppm per 5,000 gallons of water. Additionally, it increases the cyanuric acid level and decreases chlorine loss caused by sunlight. By using this product, chlorine consumption can be reduced by up to 25% and the effectiveness of chlorine is enhanced.
